Regular Season Round 31: Toshiba BT - Tochigi Brex 76-66

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kanagawa. Third ranked host Toshiba Thunders (38-17) defeated their biggest opponent Tochigi Brex (42-12) 76-66. The game was mostly controlled by Toshiba Thunders. Tochigi Brex managed to win fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. Center Brian Butch (211-84, college: Wisconsin) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side center Andrew Naymick (209-85, agency: Warren Sports International) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks and guard Tommy Brenton (196-89, college: Stony Brook) scored 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toshiba Thunders maintains third place with 38-17 record having nine points less than leader Toyota Alvark. Tochigi Brex lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with 12 games lost.
