Very expected game when 9th ranked Tokyo Big Blue (3-29) was smashed on the road by second ranked Fukuoka Rizing (28-4) 102-57. Fukuoka Rizing dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Big Blue's 18 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Fukuoka Rizing forced 22 Tokyo Big Blue turnovers and outrebounded them 55-33 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in 19 points and 10 rebounds during the contest.
