Regular Season Round 3: Shinshu BW - Bambitious Nara 68-51

Date: October 7, 2017
Shinshu BW defeated Bambitious Nara in Nagano 68-51. It looked good early as Bambitious Nara took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Shinshu BW had a 26-9 second period charge getting the lead and Bambitious Nara was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 51-68. It was a good game for American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import center Nick Washburn (208-91, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Washburn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Shuhei Komatsu (185-85) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bambitious Nara will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Shinshu BW will try to continue on its current victory against Bambitious Nara at home.
