The game with biggest result difference took place in Saitama. Local Saitama Broncos (4-2) outscored Tokyo Cinq R. (1-5) 107-67 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Saitama Broncos. Tokyo Cinq R. was better in second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who recorded 31 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Yamaguchi Kenzu (182-94) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saitama Broncos will face Tokyo HT on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tokyo Cinq R. will play against Kagoshima (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
