Very expected game in Nagoya where 7th ranked Toyota B SR (17-16) was defeated by third ranked Toyota A. (26-7) 75-64 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Toyota A.. Toyota B SR managed to win fourth quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) chipped in 14 points. Four Toyota A. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) who recorded 32 points and 6 rebounds and guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota A. moved-up to second place, which they share with Denso Iris. Toyota B SR lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost.
