Regular Season Round 41: Akita NH - Osaka Evessa 70-55

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Akita Happinets (14-27) defeated at home 4th placed Osaka Evessa (15-26) 70-55 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Coleby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Akita Happinets' coach Josep Claros used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) produced 7 points and 13 rebounds and the former international center Pape Faye (200-87) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Newly promoted Akita Happinets maintains fifth place with 14-27 record. Osaka Evessa lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 26 games lost. Akita Happinets will face again higher ranked Osaka Evessa (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
