Very important is a home loss of second rankedVytis (3-1) against tenth ranked Kretinga (3-2) on Thursday night. Host Vytis was defeated by Kretinga in a tough game in Sakiai 87-91 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vytis. Kretinga forced 87 Vytis turnovers. Swingman Gytis Macionis (195-2001) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Justas Ziubrys (183-2005) chipped in 21 points. Four Kretinga players scored in double figures. Kretinga's coach Arimantas Mikalocius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Rokas Jocys (195-2004, college: Manhattan) scored 17 points. Kretinga moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Stekas and Vilkaviskis. Loser Vytis dropped to the fifth position with one game lost.
