Regular Season Round 7: VKKM - Panevezio 97-100 OT

Panevezio 's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked VKKM (3-3) on the road game in Vilniaus 100-97 . VKKM was ahead by 14 points after three quarters before a 23-9 charge of Panevezio, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 11-14. Panevezio forced 25 VKKM turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. VKKM was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Arnas Liandzbergas (-2007) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists. Jokubas Kadziulis (-2007) helped adding 26 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side point guard Arnas Vaistaras (197-2007) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Nikita Cikunov (184-2007) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. VKKM's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Panevezio (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with SKM II. VKKM at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
