Bottom-rankedSKM II managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they outleveled eleventh-ranked Panevezio 71-51 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 20-point difference suggests that SKM II is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They also forced 29 Panevezio turnovers and outrebounded them 132-112 including a 82-69 advantage in defensive rebounds. SKM II players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 26 passes made by Panevezio 's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Panevezio was plagued by 37 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Dovydas Gribulis (-2007) who scored that evening 9 points and 9 rebounds and Matas Srebalius (-2007) supported him with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by Simas Rascius (-2009) did not help to save the game for Panevezio . Rokas Breive (-2007) added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SKM II (2-5) moved-up to ninth place. Panevezio at the other side dropped to the bottom position with six games lost.
