Bottom-rankedMazeikiai managed to get a second victory, breaking the five-game losing streak. This time they won against fifth-ranked Lietkabelis 93-87 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lietkabelis. Lietkabelis was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Chauncey Collins (185-1995, college: TCU) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 5 assists. German Kay Bruhnke (204-2001) contributed with 24 points for the winners. International power forward Gabrielius Maldunas (204-1993, college: Dartmouth) replied with 11 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Dovis Bickauskis (191-1993) added 14 points and 4 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in the effort for Lietkabelis. Four Mazeikiai and five Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mazeikiai (2-10) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Nevezis. Lietkabelis at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Neptunas and Juventus.
