There was no surprise in Plunge where 14th rankedP.Olimpas (9-19) was defeated by third ranked Telsiai (19-7) 78-70 on Thursday. Telsiai made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Gediminas Lesciauskas (197-2001) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Ignas Razutis (185-1987) chipped in 14 points. Five Telsiai players scored in double figures. American forward Taeshon Cherry (203-1999, college: Marian, IN, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Jared Small (201-1997, college: CMU) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. P.Olimpas' coach Mindaugas Tamusauskas tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Telsiai keeps a position of league leader. P.Olimpas lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with 19 games lost.
