There was a small surprise when ninth rankedNevezis (4-13) smashed on the road 6th ranked Jonava (7-10) 110-87 on Sunday. Nevezis dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Jonava 's 32 and made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Israeli point guard Amit Ebo (180-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. American forward Ed Croswell (203-1999, college: Providence) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. American guard DJ Brewton (193-2000, college: CS Fullerton) produced 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian swingman Bogdan Bliznyuk (198-1995, college: EWU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nevezis maintains ninth place with 4-13 record. Jonava lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Neptunas.
