Rather expected game when 15th rankedAlytus (9-25) was rolled over on the road by thirteenth ranked Kretinga (12-22) 105-72 on Thursday. Kretinga forced 20 Alytus turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Alytus ' players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Rytis Zabita (199-1994) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) who added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard JJ Culver (193-1997, college: Wayland Baptist) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import point guard Robert Waters-Johnson (185-1993, college: Wayland Baptist) scored 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kretinga have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Silute. Alytus lost fourteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 25 games lost.
