The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. Third rankedVytis (24-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Omega-Tauras (18-18). Vytis managed to secure a 7-point victory 90-83 on Saturday. Vytis outrebounded Omega-Tauras 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Rokas Jocys (195-2004, college: Manhattan) nailed 24 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Evaldas Dziaugys (196-1996) accounted for 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Vytis players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-1989) came up with 20 points and center Ignas Juskevicius (200-1991) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Omega-Tauras in the defeat. Omega-Tauras' coach Giedrius Kurtinaitis rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Vytis moved-up to second place, which they share with Jurbarkas. Omega-Tauras lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 18 games lost.
