The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth rankedNeptunas ' (8-12) road victory over 9th ranked Nevezis (5-15) 83-81 on Thursday. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Desure Buie (182-1997, college: Hofstra) who scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Zane Waterman (203-1995, college: Manhattan) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. Forward Ed Croswell (203-1999, college: Providence) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Joseph Girard III (185-2000, college: Clemson) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Neptunas moved-up to seventh place. Nevezis at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost.
