Vytis dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Palanga's 38. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Evaldas Dziaugys (196-1996) notched 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by forward Julius Kazakauskas (196-1990) did not help to save the game for Palanga. Guard Juozas Balciunas (188-1994, college: Trinity Christian) added 19 points for the guests. Five Vytis and four Palanga players scored in double figures.
