Telsiai made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game, while Palanga only scored six points from the stripe. It was a good game for Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-1991) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-1988) contributed with 17 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners. Four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Telsiai's coach Sandis Buskevics used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Julius Kazakauskas (196-1990) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and center Julius Jucikas (204-1989, agency: BIG) added 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) in the effort for Palanga.
