The game in Kedainiai supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth rankedJonava (17-12) played at the court of 8th ranked Nevezis (10-19). Jonava smashed Nevezis 102-80 on Saturday. Jonava made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Jonava looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Nevezis ' players. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by guard DJ Brewton (193-2000, college: CS Fullerton) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists and point guard Brandon Childress (183-1997, college: Wake Forest) supported him with 19 points and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Even 22 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) by guard Joseph Girard III (185-2000, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Nevezis . Forward Ed Croswell (203-1999, college: Providence) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Five Jonava and four Nevezis players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jonava moved-up to third place. Loser Nevezis dropped to the ninth position with 19 games lost.
