Regular Season Round 1: Kretinga - Vytis 78-89

An interesting game was also tough home loss of Kretinga in a game versus undefeated Vytis 89-78. Vytis looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Vytis made 7 blocks. Point guard Titas Janusevicius (188-2001) nailed 22 points and 6 assists for the winning side and accounted for 20 points. Guard Vytautas Sulskis (201-1988, college: YSU, agency: BIG) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for Kretinga in the defeat. Four Vytis and five Kretinga players scored in double figures. Vytis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kretinga will play against Neptunas-Akv. in Klaipeda and hope to win that game.
