Everything went according to plan in Vilnius where thirteenth rankedStekas (3-4) edged 15th ranked P.Olimpas (2-6) 89-87 on Saturday. Stekas made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Strangely P.Olimpas outrebounded Stekas 38-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Rahsaan Edwards (183, college: Florida Tech) who scored 25 points and 6 assists. chipped in 13 points. Five Stekas players scored in double figures. Stekas' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Center Tadas Budrys (205-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and French point guard Christopher Tsamas (180-2002, college: E.Wyoming) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Stekas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mazeikiai and Jurbarkas. P.Olimpas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with six games lost.
