The game in Klaipeda supposed to be also quite interesting. Second rankedVKM (7-1) played at the court of 5th ranked KKM I (4-3). VKM smashed KKM I 95-55 on Tuesday. The game without a history. VKM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to KKM I 's 20. VKM forced 29 KKM I turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by KKM I 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when VKM made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was Nikas Janeliauskas who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Azuolas Zibuda chipped in 18 points. Five VKM players scored in double figures. VKM's coach Andrius Slezas felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Motiejus Martinaitis produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and Jokubas Macur added 12 points respectively for the hosts. VKM keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Saule and Tornado KM. Loser KKM I keeps the fifth place with three games lost.
