Regular Season Round 12: SKM I - Saule 70-75

LeaderSaule delivered the eleventh victory. This time they beat 8th ranked SKM I (4-6) 75-70 in Vilniaus. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SKM I. It looked good early as SKM I took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Saule had a 17-15 second period charge getting the lead and SKM I was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-75. Saule brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for Rinaldas Kairys (-2008) who led his team to a victory with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Jokubas Kiseliunas (-2008) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Saule players scored in double figures. Vilius Dabuzinskas replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and Simonas Dapkus added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for SKM I. Saule (11-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. SKM I at the other side dropped to the ninth place with six games lost.
