Very predictable result when second rankedVKM (11-2) rolled over 10th ranked Perkunas (3-9) in Vilniaus 112-66 on Tuesday. The game without a history. VKM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Perkunas ' 32. VKM forced 29 Perkunas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Perkunas ' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when VKM made 11 blocks. Forward Armandas Bukelskis (195-2008) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Azuolas Zibuda (-2008) accounted for 16 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). VKM's coach Andrius Slezas felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Denis Nalivaiko came up with 15 points and guard Tajus Brasevicius (186-2008) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Perkunas in the defeat. Five VKM and four Perkunas players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for VKM . They maintain second place with 11-2 record behind leader Saule, which they share with Tornado KM. Perkunas lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost.
