Very predictable result when second rankedVKM (13-2) defeated on the road bottom-ranked NKA (1-13) 88-73 . The game was mostly controlled by VKM. NKA was better in third quarter 24-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. VKM dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to NKA 's 28. VKM forced 32 NKA turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by NKA 's players. NKA was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Armandas Bukelskis (195-2008) notched a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Jonas Trivokas (-2008) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. VKM's coach Andrius Slezas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists by Orestas Buntis did not help to save the game for NKA . Jonas Zienius added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Four NKA players scored in double figures. VKM have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-2 record having just one point less than leader Saule. NKA lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
