Moteru Lyga top team -Kibirkstis (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Alytaus (1-7) in Vilnius 120-49 . Kibirkstis dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Alytaus ' 30. Kibirkstis forced 33 Alytaus turnovers and outrebounded them 43-17 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kibirkstis players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Alytaus ' players. The former international center Daugile Use (196-1996) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Japreece Dean (168-1996, college: UCLA) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Kibirkstis players scored in double figures. Coach Vilius Stanisauskas's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Justina Leskauskaite (178-2002) responded with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Saule Mikelionyte (183-2000) scored 11 points. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Kibirkstis . Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Alytaus lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost.
