An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kaunas. Third rankedVKM faced second-best Tornado KM . Guests from Vilniaus (15-6) defeated host Tornado KM (16-4) 89-79 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tornado KM. Tornado KM was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 51-35 second half run of VKM . Strangely Tornado KM outrebounded VKM 36-22 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. VKM players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for Martynas Radzius (-2008) who led his team to a victory with 14 points. Guard Kornelijus Snitka (188-2008) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four VKM players scored in double figures. Forward Neidas Linartas (202-2008) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Tauris Aliukonis (204-2008) added 23 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tornado KM. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. VKM maintains third place with 15-6 record having just one point less than leader Saule. Defending champion Tornado KM keeps the second position with four games lost.
