Neptunas forced 21 Siauliai turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international swingman Marina Solopova (180-1990) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. American guard Lily Wahinekapu (170, college: Hawaii) replied with 6 points and 4 assists and Latvian forward Ruta Stipra (188-1994) added 9 points in the effort for Siauliai. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
