Very significant was Starlites' (#5)79-72 road victory against Valletta . Starlites forced 38 Valletta turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Georgia Haverlock (175, college: RWU) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Philippa Riolo accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Starlites' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Ukrainian Olesia Malashenko (191-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!), 24 rebounds and 5 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and Marie Pollaco added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Valletta in the defeat.

Despite her outstanding performance, her team was unable to secure the victory.
