The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth rankedStarlites ' (3-5) home victory over 5th ranked Valletta (1-7) 75-52 . Starlites forced 22 Valletta turnovers and outrebounded them 46-26 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Georgia Haverlock (175, college: RWU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international Mikela Riolo (170-2001) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Starlites players scored in double figures. Starlites' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwanese point guard Sandra Lin (163, college: Austin Peay) responded with 21 points, 6 assists and 7 steals and Marie Pollaco scored 17 points. Starlites maintains fourth position with 3-5 record. Valletta lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost.
