Rather expected game when 6th ranked Bergen (1-4) lost to fourth ranked Midtbyen (3-2) in Trondheim 68-75 on Sunday. Midtbyen made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Bergen turnovers and had a 22-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Henriette Hofermann who scored that evening 27 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and forward Ulrikke Bentsen (182-1999) supported her with 9 points and 19 rebounds. Midtbyen's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 25 points and 7 rebounds by Maren Schutz did not help to save the game for Bergen. Swedish guard Hanna Sandberg (170-1985) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Midtbyen moved-up to third place. Bergen lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with four games lost. Midtbyen will meet at home league's second-placed Baerum in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
