Top rankedCentrum (10-2) recorded its second loss in Oslo on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Ammerud Bskt (7-3) 78-77 . Strangely Centrum outrebounded Ammerud Bskt 40-23 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-1987, college: UNH) who scored 26 points and 6 steals. The other American import swingman Terrandus Smith (193-1998, college: Union, TN) chipped in 24 points. Gilchrese is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Ammerud Bskt's coach Alexander Karlstad used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The former international point guard Johan Flaa (185-1999, college: Santa Rosa JC) produced 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian forward Petar Kutlesic (206-1994, college: Azusa Pacific) added 18 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for the hosts. Ammerud Bskt moved-up to fourth place. Centrum at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost.
