Regular Season Round 9: Asker Aliens - Tromso 91-93

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Tromso (3-10) edged on the road their close opponent Asker Aliens (3-10) 93-91 on Saturday. American forward Joey Potts (208-1999, college: Oregon Tech) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Johannes Lange (182-1998) accounted for 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Swedish point guard Sebastian Sjoberg (186-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists and forward William Kruse (201-2006) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Asker Aliens in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso maintains ninth place with 3-10 record, which they share with defeated Asker Aliens. Asker Aliens lost third consecutive game. Tromso will meet at home higher ranked Nidaros Jets (#8) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Asker Aliens will play against Oppsal in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
