Rather predictable result when fourth rankedGimle (13-5) won against 6th ranked Ammerud Bskt (12-9) in Bergen 81-76 on Saturday. Gimle made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Jorgen Odfjell (197-2000) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) accounted for 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. Gimle's coach Audun Eskeland used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-1987, college: UNH) came up with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import swingman Terrandus Smith (193-1998, college: Union, TN) added 24 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Ammerud Bskt in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gimle . They maintain fourth place with 13-5 record. Loser Ammerud Bskt dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost.
