Not a big story in a game in Bergen where 10th rankedTromso (5-19) was outplayed by third ranked Gimle (17-5) 100-62 on Sunday. Gimle outrebounded Tromso 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Gimle looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Tromso 's players. Australian forward Kon Anguik (196-1996, college: Simpson, CA) stepped up and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and international forward Hallvard Staff (203-2002, college: MVNU) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. Gimle's coach Audun Eskeland felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gary Solomon (196, college: Lewis, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Swedish guard Yousef Abdullah (196-2003, agency: Interperformances) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Gimle . They maintain third place with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Fyllingen. Tromso lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 19 games lost.
