Regular Season Round 28: Rosa Radom - Stelmet ZG 73-62

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Stelmet (22-6) in Radom on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Rosa (20-8) 73-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Stelmet. The game was mostly controlled by Rosa. Stelmet managed to win fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Robert Witka (205-81) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) replied with 13 points and international Aaron Cel (203-87) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Stelmet. Rosa have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Slask Wroclaw and AZS Koszalin. Stelmet at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Rosa is looking forward to face Energa Czarni (#6) in Slupsk in the next round. Stelmet will play at home against Polpharma (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
