Regular Season Round 1: AZS PGd - Kotwica 93-82

AZS PGd used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kolobrzeg 93-82 on Sunday night. Forward Aleksander Lebiedzinski (195-93) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Daniel Szlapka (188-92) chipped in 21 points. Five AZS PGd players scored in double figures. At the losing side Grzegorz Arabas (191-78, agency: Promotex) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Lukasz Wichniarz (198-82) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Kotwica's coach Pawel Blechacz tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AZS PGd will face Asseco II in Gdynia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kotwica will play on the road against Trefl II Sopot and hope to win that game.
