Regular Season Round 15: Zaglebie - Cieszyn 73-59

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Cieszyn (7-8) lost to ninth ranked Zaglebie (7-8) in Sosnowiec 59-73 on Saturday. It was a good game for swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-85) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 6 assists. Point guard Michal Kwiatkowski (186-92, agency: Promotex) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Zaglebie players scored in double figures. Center Tomasz Czajkowski (204-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and forward Lukasz Ochodek (197-82) added 15 points in the effort for Cieszyn. Cieszyn's coach Lukasz Kuboszek let to play twelve players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Zaglebie moved-up to sixth place in Group C, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Cieszyn. Zaglebie will face higher ranked AZS PS Gliwice (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
