Regular Season Round 19: Nysa Klodzko - Spojnia 85-75

An interesting game took place in Kloszko where higher ranked Spojnia (9-10) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Nysa Klodzko (8-11) 85-75. They made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. Nysa Klodzko outrebounded Spojnia 37-20 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Michal Weiss (188-82) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) answered with 24 points and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Maciej Raczynski (190-84, agency: Promotex) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Spojnia. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nysa Klodzko moved-up to tenth place. Spojnia lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Nysa Klodzko's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Sokol Lancut on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
