Regular Season Round 26: SKK Siedlce - Nysa Klodzko 76-78

A very close game took place in Siedlce between Nysa Klodzko and SKK Siedlce. Eighth ranked Nysa Klodzko (12-14) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked SKK Siedlce (10-16). Nysa Klodzko managed to escape with a 2-point win 78-76 on Saturday evening. Swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) scored 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Marcin Kowalski (175-82) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists during the contest. Guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and Marcin Kowalewski (200-86, agency: Promotex) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. SKK Siedlce's coach Teohar Mollov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Nysa Klodzko maintains eighth position with 12-14 record. Loser SKK Siedlce keeps the tenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Notec Inowr. and Spojnia. Nysa Klodzko will meet Biofarm PZN (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. SKK Siedlce will play against the league's second-placed Sokol Lancut and will have a slim chance for a victory.
