Regular Season Round 1: MKS DG 2 - Przemysl 36-63

MKS DG 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from Przemysl 63-36 on Saturday night. Przemysl held MKS DG 2 to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Przemysl forced 22 MKS DG 2 turnovers. Quite impressive performance for Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 assists. Forward Konrad Strzepek (195-95) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Lukasz Lewinski (187-99) answered with 11 points and center Adam Niespor (200-99) added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for MKS DG 2. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Przemysl will face Wisla Krakow (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. MKS DG 2 will play against Rybnik (#11) and hope to win that game.
