Regular Season Round 3: Szczecin - PGE Turow 107-105

A very interesting game took place in Szczecin. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of PGE Turow (2-1) to Wilki Morskie (2-1) 107-105 in the fight for the fifth place. Wilki Morskie made 30-of-35 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. 30 personal fouls committed by PGE Turow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) who scored 27 points (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. Wilki Morskie's coach Marek Lukomski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American David Jackson (195-86, college: W.Illinois) who recorded 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian-American forward Denis Ikovlev (200-86, college: Nevada) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Wilki Morskie and five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. Wilki Morskie's next round opponent will be Trefl (#7) in Sopot. PGE Turow will play at home against AZS Koszalin and hope to win that game.
