Regular Season Round 15: Rosa Radom - Stelmet ZG 65-66

Eighth-ranked Rosa (8-8) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Stelmet (13-3) in Radom on Sunday. The visitors from Zielona Gora managed to secure only one-point victory 66-65. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Thomas Kelati (195-82, college: Washington St., agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 8 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Jordan Callahan (184-90, college: Tulane) added 18 points in the effort for Rosa. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. Stelmet have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-3 record behind leader Torun. Rosa at the other side dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow. Stelmet are looking forward to face Trefl (#8) in Sopot in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rosa will play on the road against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
