Regular Season Round 16: Start Lublin - Szczecin 77-79

Very expected game in Lublin where 16th ranked TBV Start (3-14) was edged by eighth ranked Wilki Morskie (10-7) 79-77 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and Michal Nowakowski (202-88) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Doug Wiggins (183-88, college: Mountain St.) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (199-89) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Wilki Morskie have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with MKS DG and PGE Turow. Loser TBV Start dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. Wilki Morskie will face higher ranked Anwil (#3) in Wloclawek in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
