Rather expected game in Dabrowa Gornicza where 10th ranked Korona (10-16) was crushed by eighth ranked MKS DG 2 (13-14) 97-78 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Korona's players. The best player for the winners was guard Kacper Indyk (200) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Kacper Margiciok (191-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Bartosz Lesniak (176-2006) produced 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and center Michal Spinczyk (201-2000) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Korona players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MKS DG 2 maintains eighth position with 13-14 record, which they share with Klodzko. Loser Korona keeps the tenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Iskra Cz. MKS DG 2 will meet Tarn.Gory (#9) in the next round. Korona will play against AZS PC and hope to secure a win.
