Torun used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Poznan 93-77 on Sunday night. Torun outrebounded Poznan 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Torun looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Savannah Wheeler (168-2001, college: MTSU) nailed 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Danish swingman Sarah Mortensen (185-1997, college: Villanova) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. Torun's coach Elmedin Omanic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists and the other American import power forward Jessika Carter (196-1999, college: MSU) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Poznan in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
