Regular Season Round 3: Start - Gornik 84-93

ButStart was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Walbrzych 93-84 on Friday night. Gornik looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Alterique Gilbert (183-1997, college: Wichita St.) who scored 12 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import Toddrick Gotcher (192-1993, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Gornik's coach Andrzej Adamek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Guinean-American power forward Ousmane Drame (206-1993, college: Quinnipiac) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and American guard Courtney Ramey (190-1999, college: Arizona) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
