Not a big story in a game when 14th rankedStal (2-10) lost to second ranked AGH (11-1) in Stalowa Wola 61-75 on Wednesday. AGH Krakow forced 23 Stal turnovers and had a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Patryk Andruk (200-1999) who scored that evening 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Bartosz Lesniak (177-2006) supported him with 14 points. Even 20 points by guard Lukasz Krzek (188-2006) did not help to save the game for Stal . Guard Klaudiusz Tarnawski (183-2004) added 9 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AGH have a solid four-game winning streak. AGH Krakow keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Pleszew and Gniezno. Stal lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Stal Ostrow 2. AGH Krakow will meet at home Bielsko-Biala (#5) in the next round. Stal will play against Gliwice 2 (#11) and hope to secure a win.
