The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedPolkowice (9-4) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by eighth ranked Torun (6-8) 111-46 . Torun dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Polkowice 's 16. Torun forced 27 Polkowice turnovers and outrebounded them 46-24 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Torun looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Polkowice 's players. Danish swingman Sarah Mortensen (185-1997, college: Villanova) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Martyna Walczak (168-2006) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Torun players scored in double figures. Guard Julia Jeziorna (176-2005) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and center Weronika Jarecka (176-2002) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Torun moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Gorzow Wlkp. Polkowice lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the second position with four games lost.
