Very important is a road loss of second rankedPolkowice (9-5) against sixth ranked Poznan (9-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Polkowice was crushed by Poznan in Poznan 126-46 . Poznan dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Polkowice 's 24. Poznan forced 29 Polkowice turnovers and outrebounded them 52-18 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Poznan players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Polkowice 's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American power forward Jessika Carter (196-1999, college: MSU) who led her team to a victory with 41 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. The former international Agnieszka Skobel (180-1989) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five Poznan players scored in double figures. Guard Julia Jeziorna (176-2005) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and forward Klaudia Golebiewska (178-1997) added 10 points in the effort for Polkowice. Poznan have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lublin and Sosnowiec. Polkowice lost fifth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the third position with five games lost.
