Very predictable result when fifth rankedPoznan (10-7) defeated at home bottom-ranked Polonia W-wa (3-14) 92-85 on Saturday. Poznan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Polonia W-wa 's 28. Poznan looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Jessika Carter (196-1999, college: MSU) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Zuzanna Puc (188-1997, college: Utah) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Poznan players scored in double figures. The former international forward Klaudia Sosnowska (186-1990, agency: SPORTFORUM Agency) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and international guard Anna Pawlowska (170-1996, agency: SPORTFORUM Agency) added 17 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Poznan moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sosnowiec. Loser Polonia W-wa stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. They share it with Bydgoszcz.
